Shield plaque, with 1st Bn The Royal Ulster Rifles regimental badge, nd; wooden shield and plinth, maker unknown; inscribed 'Presented by 1st BN THE ROYAL ULSTER RIFLES' plinth inscribed 'B COMPANY/ 113TH BATTALION/ WOMEN'S ROYAL ARMY CORPS/ 1948-1949'. In 1881, the 83rd (County of Dublin) Regiment and the 86th (Royal County Down) Regiment were merged to form The Royal Irish Rifles.
